What we're looking for:
We need a quick-thinking, empowered individual with a proven track record in hotel sales, particularly in the B2B business group sector. As a member of our local sales team, you'll thrive in a collaborative environment, focusing on converting leads into profitable business while embracing the distinct trendy and lifestyle qualities that make nhow London a sought-after destination.
Your responsibilities:
As the main point of contact for business sales enquiries, you'll take charge of all incoming leads and strive to convert them into profitable business for the hotel. Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential for communicating with clients, demonstrating your in-depth knowledge of our facilities and showcasing the unique and desirable aspects of nhow London.
To succeed in this role, you'll implement and execute hotel strategies, leveraging your previous sales experience. Familiarity with the SAP system would be advantageous. Collaboration is key, and as a real team player, you'll work closely with Heads of Departments (HODs) to deliver outstanding customer service to our business clients while showcasing the trendy and desirable experience that nhow London offers.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for business sales enquiries, showcasing the trendy and desirable aspects of nhow London
Respond promptly and professionally to incoming enquiries
Correspond with clients, aiming to convert business in a timely and efficient manner
Demonstrate a strong understanding of our hotel facilities and company brands, emphasizing the trendy and lifestyle aspects of nhow London
Collaborate with colleagues, utilizing the SAP system for seamless communication
Maintain regular communication with Revenue (REV) and Director of Sales (DOS) regarding priority bookings and key clients
Hand over all confirmed business to event organizers
Ensure accurate reporting through weekly MB file reports, staying on top of follow-ups and conversations
Engage with online portals such as Cvent, C4C, Proven, or Venue Directory
Conduct client site visits and attend to walk-ins, highlighting the unique and desirable experience of staying at nhow London
Act as an enthusiastic ambassador for the hotel, embodying the trendy and lifestyle brand of nhow and adhering to the NH Customer Care Policy
Foster close collaboration with event organizers and all HODs
Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques effectively
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail

nhow London (pronounced “now”) has re-opened its door in July 2021 following temporary closure due to pandemic. We are a brand new hotel which only opened its door in January 2020.
The hotel has been designed by Sir Norman Foster’s acclaimed architectural firm Foster & Partners. This designed hotel is located at 2 Macclesfield Road between the Old Street and Angel Stations in close proximity to trendy Shoreditch and City.
The hotel themed is ‘Old London Reloaded’, it was designed by architect James Soane and combines British icons with unconventional contemporary elements. These include a Big Ben rocket sculpture in the lobby and a wood installation around an LED fireplace. Across eight storeys the hotel features a restaurant, bar, gym, networking spaces and meeting rooms.
Restaurant The Bell and Whistle is a modern take on a traditional British pub, with green leather seating coiling, tables featuring cockney rhyming slang and gold bell lights reminiscent of church bells. Meanwhile a central pillar features a pixelated LED grid with moving images.
