Want to grow your career in events? Look no further – RS UK & I is seeking an enthusiastic Events Executive to join its fast-paced, fun and collaborative marketing team in a 12-month fixed term role. Someone who loves meeting new people, enjoys UK travel and is willing to get stuck in. 

The full-time, hybrid position would suit someone who is already at this level or a person wanting to step up from an Events Assistant position

3 month maternity cover starting from 1st September - 30th November

Hybrid role (Est. 50% working from home and 50% onsite in Central London)

The Events Executive will coordinate and deliver high quality events that support the firm's global growth ambition and its business development objectives. They will work with the Events Advisor and Manager to organise and deliver up to 250 events annually, on time and within budget, with direct ownership of coordinating circa 75. Our events programme includes seminars, webinars, drinks receptions, dinner and lunches, mainly for external clients and contacts. The team does also support a very small number of large, high profile internal meetings. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly engaged and proactive professional to join the Incisive Media centralised events operations team as a Senior Event Manager. The role will primarily focus on the operational delivery of face-to-face events (mainly in the UK), in the format of conferences, awards ceremonies, residentials, lunches, and roadshows. 

You will play a crucial role in the events team thinking strategically about the events in your portfolio and suggesting improvements to enhance the delivery of events’ goals. As Senior Event Manager, you will work closely with other event managers and coordinators to ensure the professional and efficient organisation of all events logistics. In the role, you will be running projects across the teams while delivering high quality events on time and to budget. 

This is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for an events programme from inception through to execution. The role would be suitable for someone with at least three years’ experience in events, and looking to take that step up to a head of/senior role.
